Preparing a strong foundation

There are two approaches to preparing some garden furniture for painting. The first is to just paint over what is there and inevitably have to do the same thing again in less than a year. The second is to prepare properly and have a longer lasting, more complete result. The same is true for business.

That’s a brilliant idea!

Coming up with a new idea is not something that can be forced. It is something that happens usually at the most surprising times. The common theme of when these ideas come into the mind, however, is that they arrive when the mind is relaxed and unbound by constraint.

When is the right time?

Opening up your products and services for public scrutiny can be a daunting prospect. However, it is important to receive feedback at some stage to make sure you are on the right track.

Is our written communication forced?

Customer communications, particularly written, can be over examined to the point of being false. What is the right approach to responding to a customer and how much of “you” should come out in the text?
